We Were There - VI: Kapi speaks

After a 27 year journey behind us, we felt it was the right time to share the history, origins and past of Montana Colors. 

Through the protagonists of the tale, we’ll reveal the origins of the brand, digging into the archives to find faded photos stored in shoe boxes, rediscovering grainy films on VHS tapes. 

Through this material and the personal stories of the graffiti paint pioneers, you’ll be able to appreciate the context and environment that led to the birth of Montana Colors and its development over its first few years. 

In this chapter, Kapi - one of the originators in the Spanish graffiti scene and a direct participant in the creation of the brand - was interviewed at the Montana Gallery to provide a wrap of the first few chapters published as part of the series We Were There.
