What is a peelable vinyl coating?

As its name indicates, it’s a layer whose properties are similar to vinyl: as well as adhering perfectly to the relief of a surface, its molecules join with a plastic consistency that holds them together. This joint has more resistance than that offered by being manually removed from the surface in question.

In this way, MTN PRO Multipurpose vinyl coating is a peelable vinyl spray paint especially designed for removable customizations on cars, that can also be used on other surfaces. The aerosol applies a coat of paint that, when dry, acquires the qualities of vinyl and can be removed by hand.

The properties of this vinyl spray paint make it perfect for all kinds of temporary interventions, both on the car body and elsewhere, from the rims to the mirrors. Obviously, the formulation of this product does not exclude other uses, as long as it is applied to a non-porous surface, since its removability may be difficult if the paint is absorbed.

How do you apply the vinyl spray paint?

As always, it is essential to clean and degrease a surface, then cover the parts that you don’t want to paint before applying spray paint to a surface. Masking tape will help you to be more precise, and even shape the design, if you want. 

After vigorously shaking the vinyl spray for a minute, after hearing the noise of the mixing ball, apply the paint holding the can in an upright position, applying thin and fast strokes at a distance of about 20 cm. For the best results, it’s better to apply several thin coats rather than a few thick ones. Five or six coats will be enough, allowing 10 minutes to dry between each one.

The paint will dry completely after 12 hours. Before that time, the coat cannot be easily removed.

Permanent spray primer for liquid vinyl

The peculiar “soft touch” finish, as well as the range of colors and effects offered in MTN PRO Multipurpose vinyl coating can also be used for permanent applications.
