When we talk about ink markers for drawing, at Montana Colors we talk about MTN Technical Markers, which are perfect for tracing and drawing.
Morcky's fast and fresh strokes perfectly show the Technical Markers’ versatility. As we can see in these images, where he flirts with the comic, Morcky is an artist, who manages to make us appreciate the fluidity of the stroke that the Technical Markers guarantee.
WHAT FEATURES DO THESE MARKERS HAVE?
Basically, they are high opacity ink markers and these are the different types:
Technical Marker - Fineliner Calligraphy
Black ink, with a lot of pigment and that can work perfectly over other inks, gold and silver paints. With a tip of 1 mm thick by 3 mm wide, they are perfect for calligraphy and on top of that they are lead-free. You won't be bothered by their odor either, as they contain no aromatic solvents.
BRUSH Technical Marker
Pretty much like the previous one, but with the particularity that the tip is brush-like.
FINELINER GOLD and FINELINER Silver Technical Markers
Two ink markers, one with gold pigments and the other with silver, water-resistant, with a 1 mm thick tip. They do not contain lead or aromatic solvents.
FINELINER Technical Marker (1,0-0,7-0,5-0,3-0,1 )
A black, waterproof, water-resistant ink tip, which, like the previous ones, works on other inks, and gold and silver paints. The size of the tips varies from 0.1 to 1.0 and guess what: no lead or aromatic solvents.
TIPS ON HOW TO USE MTN TECHNICAL MARKERS
- To avoid surprises, have a sheet of paper handy where you can test the thickness of the tips, and the stroke they make. This way you become familiar with them.
- Once you start painting, use a piece of paper under the sheet to avoid unintentional smudging. This way you will not drag the ink. By placing a paper underneath you ensure that you do not leave marks on the table or the other sheets of the sketchbook. On heavyweight paper, this is not necessary, but we recommend that you check beforehand.
- When using the markers on gold or silver, we recommend that you trace, paint and then go over the line. This will prevent the outline from losing definition.
- Remember to put the lid on each marker as soon as you have finished using it. This will prevent the tip from drying out.
- Some types of paper may accumulate lint on the fine ends. Use a tissue or napkin to remove it.
As you can see, with this information and the images, you can start using the MTN products that best suit your needs and effectively get the most out of them. Although we suspect that it will be your experience and your creative spirit that will get the best out of our products.
