WHAT IS STAINLESS STEEL SPRAY PAINT?

MTN PRO Stainless Steel Paint is a product that performs two functions at the same time related to its name.

On one hand, it’s a paint that offers anti-rust protection to metals. In addition to being a stainless steel paint, it’s compatible with other types of similar materials.

On the other hand, this product has a metallic finish that imitates the appearance of stainless steel, so you could, in fact, also call it stainless steel effect paint. This paint is also perfect for unifying finishes on metallic elements or producing a metallic appearance on any surface, whether it’s stainless steel or not.

WHAT IS STAINLESS STEEL SPRAY PAINT FOR?

As you can imagine, the MTN PRO Stainless Steel Paint is especially suitable for protectingstainless steel surfaces and objects, from structures to industrial vehicles, fences, storage tanks andwelding. However, thanks to its stainless steel color finish, its use extends any surface that requires a finish of this type.

HOW DO YOU USE STAINLESS PAINT SPRAY?

Like with any spray paint, the first step is to shake the spray can well for about a minute from the moment you hear the noise of the mixing ball.

Before applying the product, make sure that the surface is perfectly clean and dry. If the object is rusty, remove the rust with a wire brush. If you’re going to apply it to plastics or polyesters, you need to start with a base coat, like the universal primer or the MTN PRO Plastic Primer. Apply the stainless steel paint in several thin layers, letting it dry for 10 minutes between layers.

Once finished, turn the aerosol upside-down and press the cap down until the paint stops and only gas comes out. This will prevent nozzle from becoming clogged so you can use it on future occasions. If the capis too clogged, simply change it for a new one.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE PAINT FROM STAINLESS STEEL?

To remove paint from stainless steel, just use the MTN PRO Solvent, since it is a solvent-based product. Apply the spray until we see that the layer of paint begins to dissolve, and then clean it with a cloth or brush. Follow the same steps to clean any other MTN paint from stainless steel.
