Montana Colors collaborates with AMS

Montana Colors is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with AMS. 

The three letters mean All Mountain Style, but stand for much more: they are the market leader in accessories for mountain bikers, and like MTN, they are driven by a commitment to design, innovation and the highest standards of quality in their products.

Montana Colors and AMS share a passion for the outdoors, inspired by the Catalan countryside that they call home. Fans of both brands are fiends for adrenalin, pushing their personal limits and require the best from their equipment. Following collaborations with other brands outside the limits of graffiti, MTN was glad to take the call from AMS, who proposed the idea.

“When you leave your comfort zone, you try to expand your potential audience by representing the multidisciplinary nature of our customers,” explains Product Manager Dario Chemello. “On previous collaborations with other brands, we saw that many users have different tastes from the mainstream, and that the common thread that unites them is the passion for spray cans and everything they represent. In this case we have tried to get away from a purist vision of graffiti, opening the horizon of the brand.”

For the project, several designs have been produced by the Montana Colors in-house writer team to protect mountain bikes in trademark style. The two companies have collaborated on two custom frame guards and a mud guard, available though the AMS web site.

And what positives are there for the graffiti movement? In the words of Dario Chemello, “The image we project outwards happens in a way that is appropriate to the tastes of those who experience it from within. Often, designers who are not part of the movement create designs inspired by graffiti that are not recognized as representative by real writers. In this design, we represent MTN through one of the languages that we control the best.”
