Return HOUSES FOR DOGS WITH RECYCLED SPRAY CANSMexican artist Hech has launched a MTN aerosol recycling project to build dog houses.
Hech Uno, Mexican Graffiti writer, presents the Mas Graff Mas House project via Montana Colors and our motto to "Keep The Planet Clean" by reusing Montana Colors empty cans.
It is estimated that the population of homeless dogs only in Mexico City and its metropolitan area is 1.2 million, which puts it in first place in Latin America according to the World Health Organization.
The project proposes recycling Montana Colors spray cans for the construction of dog houses through a creative process. In addition to being an initiative that has a stake in sustainable scholastic change, it contributes to the reduction of the dog population on public roads. Also promoting adoption and sterilization campaigns in order to counter this problem, the idea is to provide a new opportunity to improve the quality of life for these dogs.
The family or individual that adopts a dog through a dog protection association would be given a Jacalito ("humble home" in the Nahuatl language) so that the dog can have its own space within its new home. Likewise, donuts from MTN cans will be used to add each canine's individual, creating a new kind of id tag.
