WHAT IS THE MTN PRO GRANITE EFFECT? 

The MTN PRO Granite Effect is a decorative product that offers a large array of applications, despite its specialized formulation. The paint spray has a formulation designed to leave an aesthetic finish very similar to the appearance of the versatile rock. As it is specifically designed to imitate this type of stone, it only comes in one color: a marbled texture composed of different shades of gray. 

This stone effect paint boasts great resistance to UV rays, combined with easy application and strong adhesion, making this product the perfect tool to achieve this finish in a convenient way.

WHAT USES DOES THE GRANITE EFFECT SPRAY PAINT HAVE? 

This granite effect spray paint designed by Montana Colors can be applied to all types of surfaces such as metal, plastic and glass. As it is an imitation stone paint, the aerosol can be used for both indoor or outdoor projects, depending on your decorative taste or the aesthetics you want to achieve. However, in the case of durable exterior decorations, we recommend using the MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish afterwards. 

Although the stone effects are great to experiment with the aesthetics of granite in your home decoration, it’s also very ideal for other types of applications, whether decorative or professional, from window displays to set design.

HOW DO YOU USE THE MTN PRO GRANITE EFFECT SPRAY PAINT?

Using this stone effect spray for crafts and decoration is practically the same as most spray paint. First of all, mask off the parts of the object that you do not want to paint, and remember to wear protection - for your hands we recommend the MTN PRO Gloves.

Next, shake the can for a minute once you hear the sound of the mixing ball, and paint holding the container vertically whilst applying thin and fast strokes at a distance of 20-30 cm. Two coats will be sufficient for the best results. The object will be completely dry after 24 hours.

GRANITE EFFECT SPRAY RECOMMENDATIONS

For this specific spray, we recommend that the distance from the surface to be painted is slightly greater than that used with other spray paints. Also, remember to apply the paint in short sprays to avoid buildup of paint.
