Return Find Out How to Use the Frosted Effect Glass PaintWHAT IS THE FROSTED GLASS EFFECT SPRAY PAINT?
Also known as translucent glass, it is a kind of glass that allows light to pass whilst achieving visual privacy. The effect is usually achieved by polishing or applying corrosive substances to the glass, using complicated industrial processes. However, you can also do it yourself without major problems simply by using the MTN PRO Frosted Glass Efect Paint.
TRANSLUCENT GLASS EFFECT PAINT
This spray paint for glass transforms transparent surfaces into translucent ones, whether they are glass, methacrylate, or any other material with similar properties. The finish is very useful in the field of decoration when applied to transparent objects. It is ideal for practical aesthetics in DIY and construction, specifically for places where privacy needs to be preserved without compromising the entry of light. From home windows, to bathroom glass, office glass or shop windows. You don’t need curtains to maintain intimacy in a space whilst allowing the entry of light. All you need is the MTN PRO Frosted Glass Effect Paint.
A PERMANENT FINISH THAT DOES NOT DAMAGE THE SURFACE
The layer of this frozen glass spray paint dries very quickly, offering a long-lasting result thanks to its optimal adhesion. Its finish efficiently resists daily cleaning. However, as it is a surface product, it can be removed with paint stripper and a scraper, leaving the glass in its original state.
HOW TO USE THE MTN PRO FROSTED GLASS EFFECT SPRAY PAINT
In the video that you can see below, you can watch an example of decorative work which demonstrates the possibilities of the Frosted Glass Spray Paint.
Always clean the surface prior to any application of an aerosol product; in this case, the cleaning must be even more thorough. Use a glass cleaner to remove any dust or stains that the glass might have.
Tape off the areas that you want to paint to define the area to be treated. We recommend the use of gloves, in this case we’ve used the MTN PRO Gloves.
As usual, shake the MTN PRO Frosted Glass Effect well and apply the paint holding the container in a vertical position. Spray fast and fine strokes at a distance of about 20 cm. Two thin coats with an intermediate drying time of 10 minutes will be enough. You’ll see the effect appear as the product dries. Two hours after application, you can remove the protective tape from surface.
You can find aerosols with special and surprising effects like this one in the decoration and crafts section of MTN PRO. Recent additions to the range include the MTN PRO Mirror Glass Converter, the MTN PRO Gotelé and the MTN PRO Anti-Slip Paint.
